University in Spain Adds Metastorm Software to Master’s Programme

BPM Master Programme Highlights Growing Importance of Business Process Modeling and Management Discipline in Europe

MADRID, SPAIN and BALTIMORE, MD – October 30, 2007 – Metastorm, a leading provider of Business Process Management (BPM), Business Process Analysis (BPA), and Enterprise Architecture (EA) software for aligning strategy with execution, today announced that Universidad Pontificia de Salamanca in conjunction with Club-BPM have selected the Metastorm Enterprise™ software portfolio as the technology to be taught in its new BPM Master programme.

Metastorm has granted the University enterprise licenses of its market-leading Metastorm ProVision® and Metastorm BPM® software for use in educating professionals on how to effectively plan and deploy business process modeling, analysis and management initiatives in practice. In addition to starting its first semester of the BPM Master on the 19th of November, Universidad Pontificia de Salamanca will also be hosting a briefing on the program and demonstration of the Metastorm software for all major universities in Spain. The goal of this effort is to encourage adoption of the program by other major universities and to establish a strong business process management competence among business and government professionals throughout Spain.
